Got out as soon as there was enough sand to launch and spent quite a while buzzing along from the car park to the estuary entrance and back ona 9m kite. Several windsurfers and other kites out too. Wind was becoming stronger and more blustery so came in after an hour or two for a smaller (7m) kite. Got back out quickly, but after half hour or so got caught out by a gust and some mushy white water and managed to drop the kite (though it didn't seem to be responding quite right, so not sure if it had already failed) where it promptly got chewed up by a load of white water and split from LE to TE effectively calling an end to my day... but only an hour of daylight left anyway and most people came in shortly after anyhow because the wind had gotten real gnarly. Back to the sewing machine now...
